PLAYER RATINGS: Swindon Town 1-2 Oxford United

Swindon Town were left ruing two conceded goals in three minutes as their wretched run of no league win over Oxford since 2001 continues. Benjamin Wills offers his player ratings from the latest A420 derby defeat.

Lawrence Vigouroux: Despite conceding two goals, Lawrence Vigouroux did not actually have a great deal to do.

He could also do nothing about the strikes that did go in, however his 90th-minute red card, his second against Oxford this season, means that youngster Will Henry has to deputise over the next few weeks in what are huge games - 4

Fankaty Dabo: Took his goal, which was his first in professional football, really well and did ok defensively but it has to be said Oxford always looked dangerous down their left-hand side and that's where the first goal came from too - 6

Lloyd Jones: One of many Town players booked, his for a serious reducer on boo-boy target Chris Maguire, and did alright with his defensive duties - 5

Raphael Branco: Had to go in goal for the four minutes of stoppage time due to Vigouroux's red but, while in defence, had a decent game which, mostly, limited Oxford to half chances - 5

James Brophy: Started well and almost scored a superb goal in the second half, but that was about it from the left wing-back - 5

Nathan Thompson: Swindon's captain did not lack passion on the pitch but sadly he could not lead his side to victory on Sunday - 5

Yaser Kasim (replaced by Conor Thomas '73): The Baghdad-born midfielder grew up in a warzone but struggled with the white-hot atmosphere at the County Ground - 4

Charlie Colkett (replaced by Jermaine Hylton '83): The ever-skilful midfielder had a few tricks up his sleeve this weekend too but none of them could lead to chances created. Also missed a game-changing chance in first-half stoppage time - 5

Ben Gladwin (replaced by Johnny Goddard '80): Queens Park Rangers loanee Gladwin, like Colkett, could not get any meaningful attacks going and could not find his shooting range either - 5

Nicky Ajose: On his third Swindon debut Ajose was limited to minor sniffs at goal as he was fed on scraps from minute one to 90. Not able to stamp his mark on the match through little to no fault of his own - 5

Luke Norris: Ex-Gillingham striker Norris was unable to get proper chances at goal and could not bring others into play either - 5

Substitutes:

Johnny Goddard: Goddard was not given enough minutes on the pitch to make much of a difference to the scoreline. Had one chance to shoot from range late on but opted against it - 5

Conor Thomas: Thomas did not manage to dictate play Town's way following his second-half introduction as Oxford continued to dominate proceedings - 4

Jermaine Hylton: The man seen as Tim Sherwood's super sub was, as ever, not given enough minutes. Got seven this time - 5
