Swindon Town striker Harry Smith returns to Millwall after loan spell
Striker Harry Smith has had his loan spell at Swindon Town ended, and he has returned to Championship outfit Millwall.
Smith, 22, originally joined the Robins on a season-long loan from Millwall, but has found opportunities in Wiltshire limited since his summer switch.
He has played eight times for Town this season, but the majority of those were from the bench and he only managed one goal for Dave Flitcroft's men, when he scored the second in the 2-0 win over Cambridge United.
On Sunday, Smith posted an Instagram goodbye message to fellow loanee Chris Hussey.
The departure of Smith leaves Swindon with four players who are capable of playing up front: Luke Norris, Keshi Anderson, Paul Mullin and Kaiyne Woolery.
Norris, however is the only one of that quartet that have played regularly as the lone striker, with Woolery and Mullin regularly deployed on the wing while Anderson has been the number 10 in Town's 4-2-3-1 system.
