Swindon Town secure deadline day swoop for goalkeeper
Goalkeeper Connor Ripley sealed a deadline day switch to Swindon Town from Port Vale before declaring: “It feels amazing.”
The 31-year-old, who joins Ian Holloway’s side on a deal until the end of the season, had started 23 times for Port Vale in League Two this season before agreeing to join the Robins.
He has played more than 300 times in the EFL during his career.
Ripley said: "It feels amazing. It came around pretty quick and I travelled down straight away today to get the medical done and I'm here now.
“I had spoken to Ian and it was a really simple decision after speaking to him, he's someone I can relate to and he's a manager I really want to work with."
Ripley will compete with keepers Jack Bycroft and Dan Barden for a starting spot at the Nigel Eady County Ground.
