REPORT: Sheffield Steeldogs 2-4 Swindon Wildcats

The Swindon Wildcats recovered from Saturday's defeat against Peterborough with a 4-2 win over the Sheffield Steeldogs on Sunday.

It was not all plain sailing for the Wildcats however as the went behind at 1:21 with Donatas Kumeliauskas getting the goal after Adrian Palak and Tomas Brcko contributed assists.

Soon after though the Wildcats did level when Jan Kostal netted a Powerplay goal at 4:11 with Jonas Hoog and Ben Nethersell got assists.

Sheffield regained the lead in the second period, at 21:16, with Tim Smith scoring. Arnoldas Bosas and Liam Kirk with the assists on this occasion.

Tomasz Malasinski dragged Swindon to parity for a second time at 32:10 after being assisted by Hoog and, from that moment on, they did not look back.

At 34:14 the score was turned on its head by Phil Hill who put the Wildcats in front for the first time on the night.

Hoog completed the scoring at 47:55 to seal the win and Floyd Taylor was credited with the set-up, as was Malasinski.
