PREVIEW: Cheltenham Town vs Swindon Town

Swindon make the short trip to Cheltenham on Saturday looking for their second win on the bounce.

They will have to do so without regular goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux though, as the Chilean has been slapped with a four-game ban for abusing a match official after the 2-1 defeat to Coventry the Tuesday before last.

Reice Charles-Cook, who signed on a free from Coventry in the summer, is expected to make his debut but Will Henry has been recalled from his loan spell at Dunstable and will be involved in the squad.

Top goalscorer Luke Norris might miss out as well through his second dislocated shoulder injury of the season, but he has been in training.

Chris Hussey remains unavailable too with his groin injury that he picked up in the 2-0 win at Forest Green, so Matt Taylor is likely to fill in at left-back for the third game running.

Timi Elsnik had to pull out of the squad 15 minutes before kick-off last Saturday and he is "touch and go" for Cheltenham after spending the week at his parent club, Derby.

Better news comes in the shape of Chris Roberson though, who is in contention again. He missed the Cambridge win as his daughter was rushed to hospital, but she is ok now and Robertson is eligible to play football again - he played the full 90 in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Bristol City on Tuesday.

Cheltenham are on a decent run of form, as the also-nicknamed Robins have three wins from their last four, with the other result being a draw and they currently occupy 13th while Swindon are in 9th.

Mohamed Eisa, who was born in Sudan, is one of the main threats in League Two this season, as he has six goals in 11 games so far this campaign.

Swindon have not played Cheltenham in the league since 2012, with the last domestic match at Whaddon Road being a 1-0 defeat, but the most recent meeting between the two was a 5-0 Cheltenham win in the 2014 FA Cup.

Swindon have never won against Cheltenham in Cheltenham. If they end that hoodoo tomorrow, they could rise into the play-off places.
