Holloway 'totally delighted' with four-midable win at Grimsby
Boss Ian Holloway was “totally delighted” by the way Swindon Town dispatched of Grimsby on Good Friday.
Holloway’s side sealed an emphatic 4-0 win at Blundell Park, thanks to goals from Tom Nichols, Ollie Clarke, Kabongo Tshimanga and Botan Ameen.
It took Town to their fourth win in a row and six points off the League Two play-off places with three games of the season remaining.
Speaking post-match, Holloway said: "We dominated in areas, and I am totally delighted with the way that we played.
"We worked out how to play out against them, and it was not until the second half when they tried to stop that.
"I am delighted with everything that everybody has done, I am delighted for Botan to get his goal.
"What pleased me more than anything was the defence talking to the midfield, the midfield absolutely closed them out. They are very dangerous when they counter-attack teams, but we won everything in that middle zone, and that was wonderful to see.
"We were really at it from start to finish, so I cannot fault us.”
Town are back in action when they host Bromley on Monday (3pm).
