Wildcats In Profile: Mark Smith

In the latest of Total's Guide to the Wildcats roster, we look at D-man Mark Smith.

Been a Wildcat since: 2016-17

Smith began his ice hockey career at the Sherwood Park Crusaders, where he spent four seasons, before moving on to the University of Alaska-Anchorage for another four years.

He then spent three years at three different clubs - Charlotte Checkers (2007-08), Rocky Mountain Range (2008-09) and the Edinburgh Capitals (2009-10) and found stability again at the Cardiff Devils with a four-year stint in Wales that was interrupted for a year by the Coventry Blaze.

A return to Cardiff swiftly followed though for a year but Swindon became Smith's new home this summer.
