Nethersell has been around the Wildcats set up since the 2013-14 campaign, but he experience with the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) and the club's affiliate sides over the last three seasons and has agreed a two-way contract with Oxford City Stars for the 2016-17 campaign.

The now 18-year-old managed 17 goals and 34 assists from 20 OHA games last season, and he will be looking to emulate those kinds of statistics during his first senior year and he will certainly gain vital experience in Oxfordshire.

If he is ever needed, the young man will be ready to help out the Wildcats defence when called upon.
