Snapped: STFC v Scunthorpe

Swindon Town 3-1 Scunthorpe United.

League One newcomers Scunthorpe, were dealt a gruelling defeat at the County Ground on Saturday afternoon, finishing the game with only 10 men.

Just 13 minutes into the match the hosts were already 2-0 up. Massimo Luongo scored following a cut-back from Nathan Byrne, while Michael Smith's effort followed shortly after. 

Paddy Madden pulled one back for the visitors but Smith boosted Town's lead just before the break to make the score 3-1.  

Following an altercation with Nathan Thompson, Scunthorpe was sent off for violent conduct.
