ON-THE-BUZZER REPORT: Swindon Wildcats 6-2 Bracknell Bees

Head Coach Aaron Nell scored a hat-trick as the Swindon Wildcats cruised to a 5-2 win against the Bracknell Bees at the Link Centre.

Nell gave the hosts the lead at 5:16 with Swede Jonas Hoog and Tomas Malasinski playing key roles in the build up.

The Wildcats' boss would later add two more goals, but it was Hoog who doubled Swindon's advantage at 9:21 as Malasinski was involved in creating again, as was Lee Richardson.

Bracknell got themselves back in the game, albeit only briefly, via Lukas Smital after good work by Harvey Stead and Scott Spearing, but it was in vain as the Wildcats pulled away to secure a convincing win.

Nell restored Swindon's two-goal cushion at 24:55 with Malasinski getting assist number three of the evening and not long after it was 4-1 with Nell celebrating for the third time.

At 35:10 Nell struck in goal number four with Mark Smith notching the assist.

Hoog extended the lead to 5-1 at 52:08 and yet again Malasinski was involved and Nell took a break from scoring to contribute to setting up his teammates.

The Bees would restore a smidgen of pride at 54:04, however, with Carl Thompson getting on the scoresheet, but it was too little, too late, especially when Jan Kostal scored at 59:34 with Sam Bullas and Max Birbraer playing the role of providers.
