18-year-old Mohammad Dabre signs for Swindon Town

18-year-old Mohammad Dabre has joined Swindon Town on a permanent deal from London-baaed Volenti Academy, becoming the clubs latest signing. Total Sport Swindon has more on the signing below.

Before his move to Swindon, Dabre had never signed a professional deal or made an appearance in the English Football League, but has made 15 appearances for the Crystal Palace foundation side scoring 8 goals in the process.

A relatively unknown player, Dabre will join up with the current crop of players at the Robins but it is yet to be seen if he will be involved in this weekends season opener.

Speaking to the clubs official website, Director of Football, Ben Chorley said: 

"He is a versatile midfield player with bags of energy and massive potential.

Dabre will have some very experienced role models at the club to learn from, and he will develop under our Head Coach Ben Garner,” he said.
