ON-THE-BUZZER REPORT: Swindon Wildcats 3-2 Manchester Phoenix

A hat-trick from Jonas Hoog helped the Swindon Wildcats to a win over the Manchester Phoenix.

The Swindon Wildcats have now won three games on the bounce following their four-point weekend last week.

Super Swede Hoog opened the scoring on Saturday bang on six minutes played after he was assisted by Max Birbraer and Neil Liddiard.

Weirdly, for goal number two the exact three combined again to double Swindon's lead at 11:52. Birbraer and Liddiard teamed up to assist Hoog who tapped home to double both his and the Wildcats' tally for the evening.

Manchester refused to give up the gun though and hit back at 36:47 through Robin Kovar with Vaclav Meidel and Edgards Bebris the providers.

Hoog did not let up though and bagged his hat-trick goal at 36:47 to give the Wildcats a two-score cushion for the second time.

Kovar netted his second at 44:50 for 3-2 but Swindon held on for the win.
