Volunteers Needed for Wacky Commuter Race

In honour of "Travel Choices Month" this September, Swindon Travel Choices are on the hunt for some brave volunteers to take part in a "Wacky Commuter Race".

The event, set to take place on Tuesday 10th September, will see a cyclist, jogger, bus user, car driver, and taxi user depart from the Orbital Shopping Centre and race to Swindon's railway station. 

Never ones to shy away from a challenge, Team Total Swindon has already bagged their spot in the line-up. 

Volunteers with "wacky" commute methods are also being encouraged to sign up. If you fancy riding a space hopper, scooting, riding a horse or rollerblading to work, make sure that you get in touch. 

The participants will be rewarded at the end of their race with a welcoming committee and free breakfast.  And of course, someone will take the honour of winning the race!
