Rio are Celebrating their 1st Birthday this Weekend

Since establishing itself back in 2012 the family run Brazilian restaurant has proven to be a hit with locals.

The popular eatery, located at the bottom of Victoria Road promises diners an experience unlike any other.

Part of the restaurants charm is its low key relaxed atmosphere and eclectic mix of homemade Brazilian classics.

Owner of Rio Danny Mason said "I'm overwhelmed about how successful we have been in our first year of business. It's brilliant to see something so new and so different thriving in Swindon."

Restaurant goer Daniel Notelling said "I love Rio, it’s just what Swindon needed! It’s run by great people and has a great energy about it. The food is under-priced for the quality and the Caipirinhas are just divine. Viva Rio!"

Lorraine Laketic another Rio diner added “Rio is great because of the quality food and friendly atmosphere; I have enjoyed many a tequilla shot here! Myself and my husband will certainly be returning. I wish Rio all the best and hope they have many more reasons to celebrate in the future.”
