Review: Barrel & Stone Pizzas at DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon

Here at Team Total, we were lucky enough to be invited to try DoubleTree by Hilton's newest addition to their menu - the Barrel & Stone Pizza Range!

On our arrival at DoubleTree, we had a good look at the huge variety of pizzas and endless topping combinations. Not only is DoubleTree the only place you can find a Barrel & Stone pizza in Swindon, it's the only place in Wiltshire! So as you can imagine, we were desperate to try it out for ourselves.

We all decided to try something different so our order consisted of a Rustic Classic, Sweet n Tangy, Nice n Spicy & Simple Salami. 

The hand crafted pizzas were brought out to us by our friendly waitress in no time, and at the perfect temperature so we could tuck in straight away. Our waitress also made the time to pop back to our table half way through the meal to check that everything was okay. Of course - with mouths full of the freshly made dough - we replied that it was absolutely delicious!

The stonebaked pizzas were cooked to perfection. The whole team commented on how flavoursome and tasty their meals were! The melted mozzarella with the tangy tomato sauce on the Rustic Classic was a perfect combination, and tasted all the more mouth-watering on top of the doughy perfection. The Sweet n Tangy was a perfect fusion of flavours. The Nice n Spicy was an explosion of spicy flavours and the Simple Salami tickled the tastebuds for the perfect taste. 

Despite ordering the smaller 8" as opposed to the 12", we were all as equally stuffed with the authentic high quality and delicious ingredients! The whole team came away from our lunch extremely satisfied with our meal and the service provided.
