Coate Water Country Park

A popular and beautiful park in Swindon with a large 54 acre reservoir and so much more.

Coate Water is open all year round, 24 hours a day and is situated 5 km to the southeast of central Swindon, near junction 15 of the M4.

Coate Water Country Park Swindon is a wildlife reserve with bird hides, pitch and putt, splash park, a new updated accessible play area, mini golf, miniature railway, a sensory garden and a cafe so it's great for days out with the kids in Swindon. It is also popular with cyclists, runners, and walkers.

Dogs are welcome in the country park, but restrictions apply to the nature reserve, children's play area, splash park, and golf course.

The splash park has been under renovation but will be open daily from 11.00am to 5.00pm in the warmer months.
