Outsource UK Acquires Bramlove Defence and Engineering Consultants

Swindon-based Outsource UK, one of the country’s largest independent IT recruitment businesses, has acquired Bramlove Ltd, the Manchester-based Defence and Engineering recruiter.

Paul Jameson, MD of Outsource said, “this is a great strategic acquisition for Outsource. Bramlove specialise in providing ICT resource to the defence and engineering sectors so this acquisition extends Outsource into new markets and provides new opportunities for growth."

"Additionally Bramlove operates in the North of England so with our headquarters in Swindon, Wiltshire and a second office in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire this acquisition means that we now have a presence throughout England”.

The staff of Bramlove will remain with the business.

This is the second acquisition within the last 18 months for Outsource UK. In 2011 Omnium IT became part of the business. Paul Jameson added, “acquiring Bramlove is an important step in strengthening Outsource’s competitive position as we seek to grow the business. We have grown steadily and organically since we started 21 years ago but where we see strategic value we will seek to acquire other businesses.”

Outsource employs 46 people and this year has a projected annual turnover of £37 million. The firm was created in 1991 by MD Paul Jameson. It is headquartered in Swindon, Wiltshire and has a branch office in Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire.
