Snapped: Swindon Wildcats Tea with the Mayor

Members of the Swindon Wildcats ice hockey team took a day away from the ice to enjoy tea and cake with the Mayor! Take a look at our snaps below...

The Mayor, who has attended many of Swindon Wildcats’ home games, invited the team along to congratulate them on the fantastic season they're having so far and to learn more about the inspiring work the team does in the Community.

As part of their visit, the Mayor took some time to talk through all the fascinating local artefacts that adorn the Mayor's Parlour, along with the Mace which can be seen at certain ceremonial events. 

Following some tea and cake, the team was shown around the Council Chamber and ever sat behind the desks on the comfortable chairs, where so much of Swindon's history has been decided.
