Snapped: Swindon Town v Brentford

Swindon 1-0 Brentford. Thanks to a first half goal by Louis Thompson, Swindon beat promotion-chasing Brentford at home on Saturday. Swindon were awarded a penalty after Alex Pritchard was felled by Alan McCormack but David Button's shot was saved by Michael Smith. Thompson slid the ball into the back of the net after Jonathan Douglas gave the ball away. Brentford now remain in second place, seven points in front of Leyton Orient who are in third place. The Robins move up to seventh place, and need seven more points to earn a play-off spot.
