Supermarine 2-3 Shortwood. Shortwood United earned a last minute victory at the Webb`s Wood Stadium against Swindon Supermarine on Wednesday night. Shortwood now move into seventh place in the Calor League Southern Division One South & West table. Marine's Ashley Edenborough got the game off to a great start with a spectacular overhead kick that went in off the underside of the crossbar. Moments later United's Ross Langley pulled the score level. Jon Steadman beat his own keeper in the 39th minute to ensure the visitors took a 2-1 lead into half-time. All was not lost for Marine though, Josh Parsons headed in a cross by Jake Johns to draw even the score once more. Despite a draw looking likely, Sean Lawson scored for United in injury-time.
