Nick Morris ©: 9

Making his home league debut as skipper in front of a packed Abbey Stadium, Morris set out to prove any doubters wrong. Put in a fantastic captains performance scoring 11+2 on the night.

Adam Ellis: 7

Started the night with two opening heat wins to help set the tone for the rest of the evening. Tailed off in the latter stages of the meeting but a solid performance from the number two.

Troy Batchelor: 9

Came into the night with a point to prove against his previous side following his axe from the Stars last season. Rode like the Batchelor of old and certainly silenced any critics.

David Bellego: 6

A difficult evening for the Frenchman seen him struggle to score the points so associated with his riding. Came back well in his last heat to win the meeting for Swindon and secure the three points.

Tobiasz Musielak: 7

Two heat wins on the night showed Musielak is starting to grow into his new leader role. Was the key to success for Rossiter’s side last season and will be relied on to score big points this year.

Zach Wajtknecht: 9

The best performance of his Swindon career so far saw Wajtknecht deservedly scoop the rider of the night award. Scored 5+1 and beat former GP star Niels-Kristian Iversen in heat eleven to show why he is regarded as one of the sports most promising talents.

Mitchell Davey: 3

Struggles to make an impact from the reserve position and rarely threatened the opposition. Will look to improve on his performance and establish himself as a key figure in the side.
