My questions were about losing Jonny Williams and keeping momentum:
Scott Lindsey on progression:
It is really important because we want to win every game. Before this we played younger players and were criticized for that, but we believe every selection is good enough to win. We were really good against Palace and really helped development of some players.
Scott Lindsey on playing higher league opposition:
We have to respect them and are picking a team we feel is good enough to win games. We are trying to get players match fitness but we will fully respect the competition and we are looking forward to playing this game.
Scott Lindsey on his mood:
It is really clear to see at any club when you win how the mood changes. That monday is always different. It is important that we enjoy these moments and it gives everyone a lift in training. But even when we weren't getting the results, they players still had a belief in what we are doing.
Luke Jephcott can't play
Scott Lindsey on Plymouth:
It is difficult to know what they will do as they are flying high in their division. They are a good footballing team and should stick to that but the personnel could change dramatically.
?
Scott Lindsey on the EFL Trophy:
I think it is really useful for many reasons. We have a big squad and they need to play football. I don't feel we are really weakening the team by playing these players and any team I pick could compete at League Two level, the only difference is that they haven't played as much.
Scott Lindsey on his plan for the evening:
It is about picking a team that need to play and get minutes. We want to give players rest and look after them, but also let those who haven't played the chance to do so. Some youth players will be involved at some point but the starting xi will be all pros.
Scott Lindsey on Morgan Roberts:
He has been really sharp. He likes to drift in from the right onto his left and gets shots off, he turns very well under pressure and I am looking forward to watching him play.
Scott Lindsey on injuries:
There is just MacDonald, we are going to get it scanned, which I think will be tomorrow. He feels a lot better today but we will scan anyway to make sure. We aren't certain what it is, but he found running uncomfortable, so we had to make the change.
Lavinier has done a little bit of training today, but Tuesday will be too soon for him.
RHM will be involved in the game tomorrow. The plan is for him to get half an hour at the end and hopefully he can really impact things. He has looked very sharp and quick and can stretch the opposition really well.
Scott Lindsey is here
It feels very much that the fans opinion of Scott Lindsey has flipped following that Doncaster win, so hopefully can push forward and use that momentum tomorrow night.
Good afternoon everyone, Swindon return to EFL Trophy action tomorrow evening against Plymouth Argyle following two wins in a week. I will be jumping into the Teams call shortly to speak to Scott Lindsey
