Website 0330 002 1993That is all from today, I shall see you all on the Presser and at Northampton.
Morgan Roberts on what he has learnt:
It is a really different environment but it is mens football and thats what I needed and I have learned physically and mentally.
Morgan Roberts on his pathway:
There are a lot of young lads who have come through this year, like Wakeling, and looking at that before I signed made me think that I wanted to come here.
Morgan Roberts on getting games:
It was a big thing of why I wanted to come back was to play in the league and get that chance to prove myself.
Morgan Roberts is now talking about Wales, but we don't need this again.
Morgan Roberts on settling in:
Very fast, boys are lovely yada yada ( I am a bit behind)
Morgan Roberts on Northampton:
I have great memories from there in getting that first pro deal and it should be a great game because they are flying right now.
Morgan Roberts on Banbury:
It was great, I was there for a year and a half and got involved and it was a great time and they helped me get back up.
Morgan Roberts on his transfer:
It happened very quickly for me, only the night before, but I was really happy. It is football league and full time which I wanted to come back into and this is a historic club so no doubts.
Morgan Roberts is joining us now.
Scott Lindsey on early form leading to play-offs historically:
I will take that, but I don't read too much into history as there are always exceptions. It can happen both ways. Teams can go on mad runs and end up there.
Scott Lindsey on Port Vale fine:
I don't want to comment. What happened happened and this was the decision of the power's that be.
Scott Lindsey on RHM:
I would say that there would be regret if he tore his tension half an hour in, but he did it so early that it wasn't to do with the previous injuries or it could have happened in training, it is just bad luck.
Scott Lindsey on having one day off:
I do need to be more efficient with my time but I have thrown everything into the job. I have had one day off and it was my daughter's birthday, but as I come on with familiarity, I will be able to have more time off.
Scott Lindsey on goal kicks:
We want to dominate possession, so we have to play out from the back. We want to invite a press and play through it and move past it. If they set traps that is fine, we need to find solutions. Kicking long to forwards who aren't very big is almost a waste as we are unlikely to win it and it puts us under pressure. Some times we have to play longer when we are under pressure and we work on how to do that, but most of the time we want to dominate the ball.
Scott Lindsey on Sol Brynn:
He has been brilliant and it was a tough decision at the start of the season, but Brynn had done more than Ward in pre-season by luck more than anything, but I thought it was the right decision. We o=conceded goals at Harrogate but he is a really good pro, and nothing impacts him and he is getting better and better,
Scott Lindsey on data review:
We sit down a look at the data and it highlights things that maybe we know but it does show what we need to do. It shows we need to be better at the back and stop Sol from doing as much work and up the front trying to get the ball into better areas and have fewer shots from range. We don't cross enough and too often have chosen not to, but it is about picking the right areas and we feel we have been good at doing that.
Scott Lindsey on the atmosphere:
We are looking forward to it and are hoping for over 10,000 in a good atmosphere in a big game.
Scott Lindsey on injuries:
Reed is fit now and ready to play. Williams basically had a week off so he should be fresh. RHM has had a tear to his hamstring tendon and could be out for 10 weeks. We are really sorry for him, but he has a great mentality and we have a good medical staff so we are hopeful. It is a new injury so we are hopeful, but it was because he hasn't played football in so long.
Scott Lindsey on set pieces:
We have to defend against it and be aggressive and make our roles clear.
Scott Lindsey on Northampton:
They have started really well and are second in the league. I have watched at length and they have Hoskins as the highest goalscorer, and have the most set pieces. That's a really big part of their game and they have a flat long throw, we will be working on that.
Scott Lindsey on Port Vale:
Not affected at all, by the result more than anything. What went on afterwards wasn't great but didn't affect me. It was sad and not what we want to see but the result was bigger for me.
Scott Lindsey on cost of living:
From my point of view I am against changing kick-off times as they change over costs. If that early kick-off is at the front then we have to change travel plans and there are hotel costs and from a football point of view we have to change our preparation. I would prefer to kick-off at 3pm.
And here he comes
Apologies for the wait, but Scott is on his way
We are in the County Ground ahead of Northampton Town visiting the County Ground this Saturday in League Two, featuring Sam Hoskins, who has 11 goals in 10 games so far this season.
