Website 0330 002 1993What a frantic game, would have been great if you hadn't just spent the previous ten minutes making sure two match reports were ready to go. But I was more than happy to change them. I will be speaking to Lindsey shortly, roll on Donny!
Full time: Swindon 3 Sutton 2
I have totally neglected this as I was changing everything else and I do apologize. Wakeling, the League 2 Klose, nipped in front of the Sutton centre-backs to get on the end of Blake-Tracy's delivery and turn in from close range. Swindon may be off the hook.
GOAL! Swindon 3 (Wakeling '90+2) Sutton 2
6 minutes added on
87- OFF: Will Randall
ON: Enzio Boldewijn
86- It looks like Swindon are ending the stronger here. They are keeping Sutton pegged back with possession and they are struggling to spring counter attacks.
84- A really nice move from Swindon left them just unable to find that final ball between Reed and Williams. Eventually Hutton tried a flick around the corner but Williams was offside down the right side of the box. 2-2.
82- I must say, based on his hobbling round to the dug out, I think this could be bad for Lavinier.
81- Yellow card for Jon Barden for a handball, giving Swindon a presentable free-kick.
79- OFF: Marcel Lavinier- he went down injured off the ball holding his hamstring. He is still getting up to speed with first team football, so hopefully this is not serious.
ON: Remeao Hutton
78- From a corner Tom Clayton had two goes at having a shot but failed to make contact either time and it was scrambled away.
75- OFF: Donovan Wilson, Rob Milsom and Harry Beautyman
ON: Charley Kendall, Jon Barden, and Alistair Smith
72- It would be fair to call this part of the game a bit of a dry spell. Swindon are holding onto possession and neither side loom like scoring. As I type this Swindon are attacking so I am hoping to jinx things.
69- OFF- Omar Bugiel
ON- Kylian Kouassi
68- Booking for Lavinier after a bit of a rash challenge on Bugiel.
66- Some of these fans make no sense. They were annoyed at Swindon playing short from a goal kick and then booed when they kicked one long. I will leave you to work out the logic. There is also absolutely no singing.
61- Lavinier got around the outside and played it back towards Khan, but a defender stole in and knocked it away. Swindon sustained possession and Wakeling had a shot blocked from close range.
60- OFF: Jephcott and Darcy
ON: Khan and Wakeling
These changes were met by a very strange chorus of boos and I have no idea for which decision.
56- That chance has not yet sprung Swindon into life as Brynn has to deny Milsom as he let fly from the edge of the box. Sutton much the better team here. 2-2.
53- Wonderful football from Town. Suddenly there is life. That must have been a 20 pass move as Town worked it across the pitch with Darcy at the heart of it all but he couldn't get his shot on target from just inside the box. 2-2.
51- Really not a good start from Swindon. Neufville skips around the outside of Blake-Tracy and cuts it back for Eastmond and he blazes over from point blanc range. Praise the lord for the easy misses.
49- Dangerous looking corner from Sutton. Milsom swings it into the back post and it looked destined to hit a head there, but a small stutter meant no attacker made a connection and it went behind.
47- Feels like that should have been a penalty to Sutton. Tom Clayton leans towards the ball as it bounces up around him and leans into it, it looked like it hit his arm. Just saying. 2-2.
Here come the teams, preferably this half would be a touch less eventful.
It looks like a lot of those posts towards the end went out twice, my bad but it was not planned. Unsurprisingly.
Attendance here tonight is 7589, the away following is 85. Doesn't seem like the lure of the new shirt helped that much.
In terms of individual performances, which due to the action I have not been able to mention much, Jonny Williams and Ben Gladwin have been playing like prime Xavi and Iniesta.
It feels like Jephcott is a way off his best as there were at least two chances in that half which you would expect him to score.
As for the rest of the, I have been typing on my laptop so much I am yet to form strong opinions. Get set for a lot of 5s on tomorrow's player ratings.
What a crazy half that was. One minute I am cursing Jephcott's name, then the whole team, suddenly we are winning and before I came to terms with that it was level.
That's half-time. A crazy first half sees the teams all square. Swindon 2 Sutton 2.
45- Good football from Swindon. Gladwin and Williams have been in sync all half and a flowing counter saw the two combine again, but Williams' low cross just avoided Jephcott in the centre. 2-2 and breathe.
45- 5 minutes added on
42- I have barely seen any of the last ten minutes trying to get this all down on this, Twitter, and two match reports. Will Randall has clearly forgotten where he came from and scored an absolute worldie and slammed it into the top corner from 25 yards. Clearly hanging around with a Love Islander and Iandolo has gotten his to forgot where he came from.
Goal! Swindon 2 Sutton 2 (Randall '41) Screamer.
38- That was pinball in the penalty box and it eventually fell to Jonny Williams and he took his chance to fire the ball into the top corner. What a crazy few minutes.
GOAL! SWINDON 2 (Williams '38) SUTTON 1
35- That was an absolute howler from Jack Rose, who had actually played well to this point. Quick interplay between Darcy, Williams, and Gladwin left the latter slipping the ball to Tyrese Shade who shot first time and Rose let it in underneath him. "Lewis Ward, he's better than you" is the cry from the Town End.
The draw specialists are back in business. 1-1.
GOAL1 1-1 TYRESE "O FENOMENO" SHADE
31- 'Twas a yellow. Which is good because we all know that a red card would have meant this would be a draw.
30- Long delay here as we await the resolution of an off-ball incident which resulted in MacDonald on the floor receiving we get it. More as we get it. 0-1.
27- That could have been calamitous. Sutton swing a free-kick in and Brynn comes out to claim it but under pressure drops the catch. Fortunately MacDonald can scramble it away (which is the side he is good at). 0-1.
26- The issue of MacDonald not liking having the ball reared its head there again, as he passed it well behind Lavinier for no reason.
21- It seemed like the ball was out on the far side, and the referee signaled as much, but Jephcott kept it in and drove towards goal and his curled finish was pushed over the bar.
19- After all that I said about a slow start, it does feel like Swindon have started to rally and find spaces.
19- After all that I said about a slow start, it does feel like Swindon have started to rally and find spaces.
17- It has taken 17 minutes for the first jeers. These ones were for Louis Reed choosing not to shoot with two players directly in front of him and 25 yards from goal.
14- Louis Reed stands over a free-kick from a good 30 yards out... we have been here before against Sutton. What a hit son, what. a. hit, but Rose gallops across goal and pushes it away from the top corner.
This has been a breathless start but in a bad way. I have barely seen any action as I have been frantically typing away about all the stuff Sutton have been doing.
12- Now Bath City legend Donovan Wilson has a go after Neufville pulls it back to him he curls the ball first time, but wide.
11- This is not looking good. Rob Milsom clips a free-kick deep to back post and it looks like Louis John is about to head it in when Lavinier gets back to turn it behind for a corner.
8- Sutton go close again. Randall teases Blake-Tracy down the left and clips the ball to the back post for Harry Beautyman to head goalwards, but Sol Brynn clawed it out of the top corner to deny him. Can you tell a team to wake-up in an evening kick-off?
4- A very early display of taking your chances when they come. Will Randall received the ball on the edge of the box and swept it into the bottom corner to give the visitors the lead. Classic Swindon?
SWINDON 0 SUTTON 1 (Randall '4)
3- Sutton had actually taken the initiative before that counter, but it had to be in the net from Jephcott, and Town then did very little with two corners.
2- HOW HAS HE MISSED?
Gladwin sweeps a beautiful ball out to Williams who drives forward and puts it on a plate for Jephcott, he directs it golawards but Rose makes a save to deny him. Has to be 1-0, but it isn't.
Swindon get us underway, and are shooting towards the Town End, which is just plain wrong.
What a lovely tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, although the national anthem featuring "king", "his", and "him" sounds rather strange hearing it for the first time.
Minutes silence here, respect it in your own homes (I imagine you would have done anyway, unless you are a lunatic that talks to themselves)
Confession time: I went back to the Spurs game and it was an inspired decision. Two late goals from Sporting and their celebrations took up the entirety of injury time. Former-Tottenham youngster Marcus Edwards was loving it. As Jonny said "Spurs are back."
But lets get back to the matter at hand, Liverpoo... I mean Swindon vs Sutton.
Kick-off is 15 minutes away, what are people thinking in terms of predictions?
Well that game was rubbish so I have stopped watching it early. I apologize for picking it over you, and what did I really expect from Conte vs Amorim?
The players are out for their warm-ups and I am now up in the press box watching the Spurs game, so don't expect a tonne of pre-game updates, but to be fair to me, there isn't much going on.
There is of course one hero of local media attempting to explain what Scott Lindsey is trying to do and if you aren't doing anything before kick-off (which if you are reading this then you probably do) then this could be worth a read.

I may have gone for a draw on LSPOD, but I feel like this game is must win for Scott Lindsey as otherwise a lot of predominantly Twitter based fans will be baying for blood.
Huge thank you to the Sutton Twitter for listing that in position order, otherwise I would have been very much up a creek

Scott Lindsey makes one change from the 0-0 draw against Gillingham ten days ago as Luke Jephcott comes in for his first start in red and white.
Good evening everyone, it feels like quite some time since I have been at a league home match, but Swindon are in action against in-form Sutton United this evening. Team sheets to follow shortly.
