Loris Taylor returning to the Swindon Wildcats

Swindon Wildcats are delighted to confirm that Loris Taylor will be returning to the club for the forthcoming season. Loris will be returning for 19/20 after a spectacular campaign which initially saw him return on a one-month-trial before signing a full contract in September.

Loris played a vital part in the Wildcats NIHLS1 League Success during the 18/19 campaign and bringing him back for another season was a no-brainer for Head Coach Aaron Nell.

The British forward iced in 56 games last season after signing back with the senior Wildcats for the first time since 2015.

I think it’s fair to say Loris exceeded all expectations when he returned last year, and we couldn’t have been happier with his contributions last season. He scored some vital goals for us over the course of the year and gave his all on every shift he played.

We are pleased he’s decided to come back again next year and hopefully he’ll be able to improve again. He’s a vital part of the depth we have here, and we know he’ll give 110% for the team and like Floyd, he loves to be a Swindon Wildcat.

After contributing 31 points in all competitions last season, Loris himself was delighted to have secured a return to Swindon for another season.

First of all, I would to say how glad I am to be back in Swindon for another year. After the success we had last season, and the individual success I had I am delighted to have been asked back by Aaron.

Winning the league was massive for the club and with the changes in British Hockey this season I feel next year will be a big challenge for us. Hopefully we can continue to build on the recent success and add some more silverware to the cabinet. I really cannot wait to hit the ice again later in the summer and get ready for what promises to be an exciting season of hockey.
