Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill joins Helmond Sport following Swindon Town release

Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill has been snapped up by Helmond Sport of the Dutch second tier after leaving Swindon Town.

Ormonde-Ottewill joined Town in 2015 following his release from Premier League giants Arsenal, and the left-back made over 50 appearances in his two seasons as a League One player.

His second season at Town ended in relegation though and the club decided not to extend his contract as they prepare for life in League Two.

The 21-year-old's on-pitch form was mostly disappointing, and his off-pitch behaviour was not much better either as, in April 2016, he was one of three players involved in a video that showed the trio for inhaling laughing gas.

Ormonde-Ottewill has signed a one-year deal at Helmond Sport following a previous trial spell at Lincoln City earlier this summer.
