Love Fashion Live Show Cancelled

It is with regret that the organisers of the Love Fashion Live Fashion event on 10th May at CitiFaith, Regent Street, Swindon have cancelled the show due to lack of ticket sales.

‘It is a shame to cancel this event,’ said Jane Stewart, Centre Manager of The Brunel. ‘But despite a significant amount of promotion and interest, tickets sales have not been forthcoming.’  

The fashion show, featuring Lee Ryan from boy band Blue has now been cancelled and those who have purchased tickets will be able to transfer their tickets to the Secret Style Night on 20th May or receive a full refund.

Di Powell, inSwindon BID CEO said “The decision to cancel the event was not taken lightly, the town centre has a terrific number of high street fashion brands to offer customers all of whom are being featured in our month long series of events this May.”

There are several other events in the month long fashion promotion in Swindon town centre including a Make-up your Mind Exhibition in The Parade next to H&M, produced by New College Media Make-up students. This will run from 10th – 27th May from 11-3pm daily.

Plus the Personalisation Station returns for a second year offering 10 minute makeovers and advice on 18th and 19th May where Boots and Aqua-G will be offering free express treatments on The Brunel Upper Plaza from 11-3pm. 

A smaller more personal night of fashion hints and tips in The Crossing during a an exclusive Secret Style Night with The Brunel takes place on Monday 20th May from 7pm-9:30pm showcasing fashion and beauty and includes free goody bags and more with The Secret Stylist and Swindon’s own national TV and Beauty Expert, Gina Akers. Tickets are priced at £5 and can be purchased here.

New College will be hosting a Body Art Boutique on 25th -26th May in The Brunel Lower Arcade from 11-3pm with body painting demo’s, face painting and glitter transfers.  Plus for your young fashionistas there is Family Fashion Corner Crafts will take place inside The Brunel Lower Arcade from 11-3pm on 31st May.
