June Talk with Jamie Martin

June is rolling by fast and today is the Summer Solstice, the longeste day of the year and with the weather we've been having, there's a summer feel in the air. How are business owners feeling this week? Today we're talking to Jamie Martin who is the MD of Correct Careers Coaching which is a modern sales training & strategy business. Jamie offers training in social media marketing/prospecting, lead generation, new business conversion, client relationship management, negotiation, as well as his own pioneering programme in sales psychology.

JUNE is the first month of Summer – what will you be doing this summer in your business?
I will be working with new clients and preparing workshops for my LinkedIn training.

What are your personal plans for the Summer?
I will be going on a few day trips and weekends away in the UK.

Does June hold any particular significance for you or your business?
Not for my business, but next month it's Correct Careers Coaching’s 3 year anniversary! 

June is often associated in nature with growth and abundance – what are your plans for growth?
Regarding growth, my business will be collaborating more with other businesses this year especially around hosting workshops.

As we hit this mid point of 2022– which one business has really supported or helped you over the last quarter? 
It has been a client of mine who has continued using my services as well as instructed me to do more days working with them

June saw a celebration of Volunteers Week – do you volunteer at all and if so, where and why? 
Yes, I had been volunteering at the local theatre as I enjoy helping the community and the culture of it.

June 30 is Social Media Day – what does social media mean to you and your business? What are your favourite social media platforms?
My favourite social media platform is LinkedIn. Social media is important to my business as I deliver training on social media.
