Swindon Storm recruiting new players after Championship success

Swindon Storm, the town’s American football team, is offering opportunities for people to get involved in the sport as they prepare for the upcoming season.

The Storm recently celebrated a major victory, being crowned BAFA National Division Two champions after a successful play-off campaign in September. Now, the team is recruiting new players with two open sessions scheduled in December.

These recruitment sessions are free to attend and open to all, with no prior experience required. Equipment is provided, and attendees simply need to wear sports kit and football or rugby boots.

The team is seeking players for various squads, with the youth team open to ages 13 and above, the adults’ squad for ages 18 and above, and the women’s squad for ages 16 and older.
