BIOS - Settings for Life

BIOS is a Swindon based youth work project, committed to supporting young people to make positive life choices.

The BIOS Van looks like a converted supermarket home delivery van, fully customised as a well equipped mobile youth club. BIOS Staff and volunteers deliver fun activities, positive opportunities and a listening ear for young people using the Mobile Youth Club, working in partnership with other organisations wherever possible.

The vehicle does not enable young people to get on board, rather the sides fold up providing access to Xbox One, Playstation4, internet access, iPad gaming, information and guidance services, music, mobile seating, sports equipment, craft activities and refreshment facilities.

The van operates in all weather using large awnings to provide covered space. It delivers sessions in school playgrounds and parks and open spaces and helps young people to be positive, active members of their local community.
