Swindon College have a few remaining spaces for Marketing Apprenticeships starting in September 2016.

Swindon College are pleased to announce they have had a successful pilot programme with their new Marketing Apprenticeships, and have the last few remaining spaces for their next cohort due to start in September 2016.

The Marketing Apprenticeship has been designed to address challenges for employers of all sizes across public, private and not-for-profit sectors.  It can attract new talent into the marketing industry and help to up skill the workforce to meet employer skills priorities.

Intermediate Apprentices (Level 2) are likely to work in job roles such as Marketing Assistant, Marketing Research Assistant or Events Management Assistant.

Advanced Apprentices (Level 3) are likely to work in jobs roles such as Marketing Co-ordinator, Junior Marketing Executive/ Officer, Advertising Account Executive or Market Research, designing and evaluating marketing plans, contributing to advertising and promotional campaigns and events, maintaining a portfolio of products and managing budgets.

The main objectives of these Apprenticeships will be to provide employers to:

• Build a competent workforce, providing organisations with the staff needed to increase productivity and efficiency
• Tap into the skills and talents of a diverse population by providing flexible entry routes into a career in Marketing
• Equip individuals with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to enter into Marketing roles in a range of business settings
• Providing apprentices with an opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and experience they will need to progress to higher level roles with additional responsibilities and onto further and higher education, if they wish to do so.
