TGt Meets... Delinquents
In the run up to their performance at One Faith Punk Festival, we spoke to Delinquents, a hardcore band, about what you can expect...
How would you describe your music?
A glorious punk rock mess with open chords, cans and catchy melodies.
What can festival-goers expect from your live show?
A polished stellar tight exciting live performance or the circus. Depends how drunk we are.
What are the main differences between playing festivals and regular gigs?
Festival crowds aren't your crowd. They are casual fans and it's one of the easiest ways to make new fans if they are already there to see other bands.
Who have been your biggest musical influences?
Green Day, The Smiths, The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers
Are you going to be exploring much of the local area when you’re in Lechlade for the festival?
It's a seven and a half hour drive for us so we will see if we are still standing hahahahah
To survive a music festival, what are your three essentials you need in your luggage?
What’s next for the band?
Rebellion Festival and our debut album coming out this autumn!!
If you could pick one highlight from your career so far, what would it be?
Either being told we were doing rebellion or supporting our heroes the angelic upstarts
