The Story Behing The Name:
The name Swindon is thought to have derived from the Saxon words swine dun meaning pig hill or the hill where pigs were bred. The heart of Old Town was once a Cattle Market and since the pub is located at the top of hill, the name for this iconic building couldn't be more fitting.

Sports on 6 screens inside and on 3 screens outside, all in HD. There is also a projector screen in the first floor function room which is used for big sporting events.
