‘Music can...’ and will Help the Heroes

We see it all the time these days – local communities uniting together to support a particular cause, and that’s exactly what’s happening in Swindon.

After the loss of Paul Dolphin to a tragic accident a few months back, his friends and business associates have been working tirelessly to collaborate plans for a remembrance event to raise plenty of money and awareness for his favourite charity, Help for Heroes.

‘Music Can…’ takes place at Swindon MECA and SUJU on Saturday December 8; featuring over 30 live acts and DJs across a 10 hour period, and being billed as one memorable night to remember.

The event kicks off at 8pm for 5 hours of entertainment at the MECA before heading up the hill to SUJU for the official after party until 6am. Tickets for the whole event are priced at just £6, with all proceeds going to Help for Heroes. 

Event organiser and dear friend of Paul, Ian Nash, said; “Paul was such a positive and inspirational person, and added so much to all our lives, that we felt it was only right we took our time to plan a special night in his remembrance.

“Support from local businesses, DJs, promoters and suppliers has been phenomenal – all of whom I’d like to thank for making this event possible.”

“It’s a great cause, and most people have been affected by the loss of a close friend or family member, quite recently too. There are plenty of people who can relate to this, and we’re looking forward to joining a big crowd on the night.”
