Here's our list of best Pasta Restaurants in Swindon!

Mario's Italian Restaurant Swindon

Mario’s Italian Restaurant

Mario’s is not only a firm favourite of Total’s, but also the population of Swindon. It’s the town’s oldest Italian cuisine – their authentic dishes have been feeding the mouths of locals and visitors for years. Although pizzas always go down a treat at Mario’s, personally we can’t resist a classic Carbonara or Spaghetti dish, and at just £9.90, you simply can’t complain!

Ambience: 5/5. You simply will not find a better atmosphere than Mario’s. Their friendly cellar restaurant boasts warm, authentic Italian décor with soft music to match.

Price: 5/5. The beauty of Mario’s is that you can expect very reasonable prices for high quality food. Most pasta dishes cost between £9 - £11, which is an absolute bargain considering the portion sizes and quality of food you will receive!

Taste: 5/5. We’ve dined at Mario’s WAY too many times to even question this one – not once have we ever been unimpressed by the array of tastes and flavours from Mario’s pasta dishes. Whether you’re going for a classic spaghetti Bolognese or something a little different, we can guarantee it will be the best you’ve ever tasted!

Fabio's Swindon

Fabio's Italian Restaurant

Following the Old Town theme, Fabio’s is also a very high contender when it comes to pasta dishes. Their A La Carte Menu truly does offer the perfect pasta dish for everyone, and they certainly aren’t sparing on the ingredients. Expect tantalising tastes such as garlic, aubergine, mushrooms, peppers, olives, spinach… we really could go on forever!

Ambience: 4/5. Fabio’s offers a very warm, friendly atmosphere in their cosy restaurant and a true Italian experience – exactly what you need when searching for the best pasta dish in Swindon!

Price: 5/5. Fabio’s portions are extremely generous and that combined with inexpensive dishes, it has to be full marks from us. You can expect to pay around £9.50 for a classic pasta dish at Fabio’s – a very fair price to pay for delicious, home-made Italian food.

Taste: 4/5. This restaurant prides itself on their exotic and unique tastes and flavours, and they certainly impress with a different taste in every single bite.

Fratellos Swindon

Fratello's

Fratello’s Restaurant is perhaps one of the cosiest of our pasta restaurants, tucked away in the centre of town across multiple different levels, with intricately laid tables and a busy atmosphere. One thing that definitely needs to be said about Fratello’s is that their pasta dish portions are HUGE. You’ll definitely be needing a takeaway tub so you can take the rest home, we can guarantee that!

Ambience: 5/5. The ambience at Fratello’s is faultless – the cosy, stone walled cellar gives the restaurant a warm feel and the service is second to none. The team can’t do enough for you and overall, the atmosphere is super friendly!

Price: 3.5/5. Fratello’s certainly isn’t expensive – but it’s on the pricier side in comparison to other Italians around Swindon. However, they aren’t sparing on the portions, so paying £9 – 18 for a pasta dish is completely worth it here.

Taste: 5/5. Expect piping hot, mouth-watering cooking when it comes to Fratello’s – for they are extremely generous when it comes to the ingredients used in their delectable food. Full marks from us!
