Snapped: Swindon Chilli Fiesta 2017

Shoppers were feeling the heat on Saturday (29th July), when the Swindon Chilli Fiesta returned with even more chilli mayhem than ever! See our gallery of the event below...

The free event was organised once again by Chilli Fest UK and inSwindon’s BID, the town’s centre Business Improvement District and took place at Wharf Green from 10:30am - 5:30pm.

Some of the best chilli producers from across the UK attended to offer the very best of British chilli and exhibited chilli jams, chilli dips, chilli chutney, chilli chocolate and chilli beverages. For the less adventurous amongst us, there were some flavoursome but mild cooking sauces available.

There was even a range of chilli cocktails, beers and cider.

Avid chilli fans took part in the ultimate Clash of the Titans Chilli Eating Contest – a competition that is not for the faint-hearted in which contestants to took on some of the hottest chillies in the world.

'LIVE' Music also took place throughout the day.
