Licenced To Thrill – James Bond Inspiration for New Look Swindon PizzaExpress

PizzaExpress is celebrating the launch of its exciting new look restaurant in Swindon Old Town on 25th June.

The restaurant has been totally transformed and features artwork paying tribute to James Bond creator, Ian Fleming, one of Swindon’s most famous residents.

Each PizzaExpress restaurant is individually designed – often using well known places, people or historical events from the area as the basis. The interior of the Swindon Old Town restaurant has bold and eye catching artwork inspired by the James Bond series, including The Man WithThe Golden Gun and From Russia With Love. References to the famous books and quotes are used in illustrations and wall vinyls.

Manager, Richard Mitchell, said, “We have a friendly and enthusiastic team who are looking forward to welcoming everyone to our beautiful restaurant over a delicious pizza.”

PizzaExpress has been dishing up fresh, handmade pizza at the Swindon Old Town restaurant since 1996. Its exciting spring/summer menu has plenty of new options, including even more low- calorie mains and desserts, a new range of premium pizzas, called Romana65, the return of some classic salads, the introduction of new salads, new gluten-free recipes and summery desserts.

For younger pizza-lovers, PizzaExpress’ Piccolo menu is full of tasty choices including ‘Create Your Own’ pizza, and starts at just £3.95. And for budding chefs looking to celebrate a birthday, a Pizza Making Party will see them transformed into pizzaiolos so they can stretch, toss and top their own pizza and play party games before sitting down to enjoy their culinary creations.
