Award Winning Chefs to Host Live Cookery Demo at Sudbury House Hotel

Having recently won gold at the Tourism South East Award for the best Restaurant/Bistro, the Sudbury House chefs are keen to demonstrate their culinary skills when they host their first Live Cookery Demo at Sudbury House Hotel in Faringdon.

To be held on Saturday 3rd February 2018, the day starts at 11am with coffee. The demo will be held in the wonderful open kitchen in Magnolia Brasserie where people taking part will be able to watch as Executive Head Chef Andrew Scott and Restaurant 56 Head Chef Nick Bennett will be giving tips and ideas on how to prepare some mouth-watering game dishes.
 
"This is a great opportunity for people to watch us cook on home territory" says Andrew Scott. "We have done a number of demos at food festivals around the county and we know our audience always enjoy watching Nick and I as we reveal some trade secrets and inspire people to have a go at cooking with unusual ingredients. Now we have the chance to use our wonderful open plan kitchen in the Brasserie with its wood oven and engage with participants as we show them how to prepare more unusual ingredients that regularly feature on the menu in Restaurant 56 and Magnolia Brasserie."
 
The cookery demo will then be followed with a 3 course lunch with a glass of wine selected by the hotel's Sommeliers to match both the starter and main course.
