An Evening of Gin with The Pear Tree

Enjoy an evening of fine gin and great food with The Pear Tree Purton.

With gin fast becoming the beverage of choice for many, The Pear Tree at Purton invites you to join them for an evening of gin tasting.

On Friday 5th June, local wine & spirits expert Jill Frost from The Easy Wine Club will guide you through the gin making process and you’ll have the chance to sample 6 of the most interesting gins around.

Supported by Fever Tree tonic, the evening will be your chance to learn what makes gin so special and understand the differences between the new brands on the market. We’ll also show you the best way to serve a great gin & tonic as well as which fruit or botanicals each gin should be paired with.

The evening starts at 6.30pm with a welcome drink on arrival, with the tasting starting at 6.45pm in our John Veysey Suite. You’ll be guided through 6 new and exciting gins before a hot buffet dinner at around 8pm. Should any of the gins inspire you, you’re welcome to enjoy another drink or two in our bar afterwards – or why not try any of the 5 other gins we stock here at The Pear Tree.

Tickets cost £25 each and guests will be seated on tables of five so individual, couple and group bookings are all welcome.
