Opposition Insight: Leyton Orient

SWINDON TOWN travel to the capital looking to achieve back-to-back wins against a newly-promoted Leyton Orient side, following their 3-1 victory over Morecambe last week. Total Sport Swindon's Rajan Hothi picked the brains of Archant London's Jacob Ranson to give us some insight into the visitors.

Ross Embleton has taken over the managerial role in difficult circumstances. How has he fared so far?

It's was always going to be a tough gig with the tragedy during the summer, but Ross has dealt with it tremendously well, and with time I'm confident the O's will get it right in League Two.

Talk us through Orient’s transfer window.

Two key players departing in Macauley Bonne to Charlton and Josh Koroma to Huddersfield was a massive blow. They have moved to bring in Josh Wright, Lee Angol, Conor Wilkinson and Louis Dennis - who are finding their feet nicely.

Who will be a ‘one to watch’ for the clash?

It's tough as someone different has stepped up in every match but I'll opt for Louis Dennis this week. He's really starting to find his form I feel and has created plenty in the last few weeks.

James Brophy swapped Swindon for Leyton Orient a couple of seasons ago, how has he done since his arrival?

Brophy is very popular among the fans for his pace and the way he has been used in a number of positions to help the team out. Expecting him to push on now he has been given a new contract.

How would you describe Orient’s August?

A mixed bag, played some good football in spells, and some sloppy football as well. Mixed results but overall a steady opening month.

What should we expect from this Leyton Orient side?

Expect them to be quick going forward, create plenty of chances, and move the ball well. They need to tighten up defensively though.

Give us a prediction for the clash:

I'll go for a 2-2 draw.
