Snapped: Royal International Air Tattoo 2012
The weather did not deter thousands of spectators enjoying a truly thrilling display of aircraft. There were displays from airforces from around the world including Brazillian, European, NATO and US including classics such as the Spitfire, Lancaster and Hurricane. Plus super fast jets Mig-29, Typhoon, Rafale, F-18, Gripen and a Russian Yak-130. This year's flypasts included a Battle of Britain Memorial and a Jubilee special for The Queen which was a repeat of the 27-ship mass flypast of Hawk jets in a special EIIR formation.
