Swindon Lives: Miss Wiltshire

Miss Wiltshire has recently been crowned in the town, and we took some time out to get to know her a little better, and hear her thoughts on Swindon.

1. When was the last time you were recognised?
I’m not sure about being recognised but I was certainly getting some funny looks putting petrol in the car wearing my sash and crown after the finals.

2. Where is your favourite place to eat in Swindon?
I don’t go out to eat very often as cooking is a passion of mine, but I do love the White Horse pub in Woolstone for really great fresh food as a treat!

3. What is your favourite thing about Swindon?
I am a big fan of the outlet centre, as it has some great shops, and I can’t resist a bargain.

4. Holiday Time: Beach or Piste?
Definitely has to be the beach, I love lying around and reading all day.

5. What is the funniest thing you've seen/heard in Swindon? (Keep it clean!)
That Swindon is twinned with Walt Disney World.

6. Describe yourself in three words....
Friendly, Positive and Messy!

7. Have you got any nicknames?
Not any nice ones!

8. Who is your idol and why?
I love Mayim Bialik as she is a great mother as well as being an actress, author and completing her PHD.

9. What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given? 
To appreciate being young, it only happens once.

10. What are you going to do after you have answered this question?
Make my boyfriend a cup of tea, because he won’t stop whining about one.
