Snapped: Royal Wootton Basset Remembrance 2017

Today (10th November), crowds gathered at the Royal Wotton Basset Field of Remembrance to honour and remember those who we have sadly lost serving in our Armed Forces.

The Field of Remembrance is situated in the Walled Garden in the grounds of Lydiard House & Park just outside of Royal Wootton Bassett town centre. It pays tribute to all the brave Service men and women who have served, including those who have recently lost their lives in Afghanistan.

The official opening of the Royal Wootton Bassett Field of Remembrance took place on Friday 10th November at 11.00am.

Tributes were planted in the Field, with each carrying a personal message to someone who lost their life in the service of our country.
