Snapped: New College LitFest

The New College annual LitFest was all-day event that welcomed four professionals from the world of writing and academia to the Phoenix Theatre to speak to English, Creative Writing and Journalism students. Here's our gallery of the event...

Workshops and talks were hosted by special guests, who shared their knowledge and writing experiences.

The first speaker of the day was Santino Prinzi, a published flash fiction, short story and prose poetry writer from Swindon, who previously studied at New College. Joe Roberts followed on, who specialises in travel writing. Dr Mariadele Boccardi, Programme Leader at UWE, talked to students about continuing study in writing and literature and Christopher Fielden completed the day, sharing his experiences and advice on short story writing.
