NEW COLLEGE SWINDON LAUNCHES ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

New College Swindon has just launched a brand-new Alumni Association. Joining will provide former students with the opportunity to re-connect with the College and remain in touch with what’s going on within the community.

Members of the association will be sent updates on college news and events and will be able to access exclusive Alumni discounts. They will also have the opportunity to share their experience and knowledge with the new generations of students choosing to create their future, by studying at New College. The success of former students in their university and career destinations is important to New College and can really help to encourage and inspire current students.

New College are excited to hear from former students and re-connect with them, whether they’ve recently left the College, or were among the first cohort of students in 1984. To join, alumni will need to have studied on a full or part-time basis and successfully gained a recognised qualification over a period of 30 weeks or more. This includes work-based students and apprentices.

The Alumni Association will give members the chance to give industry talks to current New College students, offer work experience/shadowing/worksite tours, provide a case study for promotional purposes, deliver a masterclass to students, CPD or further training and reunion events. Other benefits will also include 10% off venue hire bookings, Sports Hall bookings and 3G pitch bookings, as well as FREE packages on selected treatments at Distinction Hair and Beauty Salon during assessment periods. Members will also be entered into a quarterly alumni prize draw, with a chance of winning a £50 Amazon voucher.
