Correct Careers Coaching, Jamie visited Threshold Housing Link Charity’s to provide advice to residents to help them take the steps back into employment

On Tuesday 15th October 2019; Jamie visited Threshold Housing Link Charity’s 3 resettlement properties within Swindon to provide career advice and guidance to their residents to help them take the steps back into employment.

'It was Threshold's pleasure today to host a special visit across all our resettlement properties from Jamie Martin of Correct Careers Coaching. Jamie met with our clients to discuss and support individual progression pathways back into the workforce.

Jamie said: "I found it beneficial to understand the challenges that residents of Threshold Housing Link experience at this present time. What emerged in our discussions were themes of overcoming the barriers to employment and sustaining positive mental wellbeing in the work place.

It was very good to listen and understand and then provide tips, pointers, advice and guidance to encourage Threshold's guests to take their next steps. One resident has a job interview tomorrow and we're hopeful that the support and additional interview advice we shared today may make some difference! I very much enjoyed talking with Threshold guests, caring and sharing".

Jamie is an early adopter of our #Threshold2020 campaign. Where individuals donate 20 hours of their specialist time and expertise across the year to help the homeless.'
