TIPS FOR SUCCESS IN 2021!

What are your top marketing  tips for 2021?

1. Give to receive.

2. Keep it local to start.

3. Make the content relevant to your audience – check by asking them, not assuming. 

What are your top financial tips for 2021? 

1. Get a financial plan so you know what you need to do today to help achieve your goals over the short, medium and long-term – we believe the more detail the better. 

2. Don’t focus only on the short-term because you will never get round to the bigger picture in time. 

3. Start at the end and work backwards (which is what we do for our clients) – it is different but it works when done correctly. 

Who are your top business buddies in your corner for 2021? 

1. My friend James who has a similar business geographically far away – we share successes and failures regularly. 

2. My wife Ana who has a brilliant mind for helping me see clearly to think rationally when under extreme pressure. 

3. My brother Anil who knows me the most and is in the same profession. 

What are your ethics for 2021? 

1. Sustainability – from recycling to buying local to zero plastic and reducing carbon emissions. 

2. Compassion – help those who really need it, especially now we are in another lockdown by communicating regularly similar to last year.

3. Kindness – including kindness to animals. 

What are the attributes you are looking for in staff/suppliers in 2021? 

1. Hard working and determined. 

 2. Proud of their work and performs to the best of their ability with service excellence. 

3. Not greedy or selfish.  

What is your take on the word ‘free’ in business? 

Too much “free” is not sustainable. It has to be paid somewhere. We offer an initial consultation at no cost to the client, where we both agree to invest time to explore whether there is a viable business relationship. 

I would rather pay and know I am getting an excellent service from someone who is proud to deliver that work whatever it is and they are remunerated appropriately.

What will you be investing in this year? 

1. Investing in my staff, both studying/training, and mental happiness.

2. Renewable energy emerging market stocks

3. My health by exercising more and working on my home.

What are you doing for charity or community this year? 

My name is down for volunteering as soon as lockdown lifts and restrictions finally ease we will be spending time regularly helping those close by in need. 

Also helping local businesses by recommending them and using them as well. 

What are your ‘absolute no-nos’ for 2021 in business? 

 1. Arrogance

2. Rudeness

3. Laziness

Any special offers you’d like to mention? 

We are very busy at this time of year with clients wanting to reduce tax liabilities, buy their home or move home before the stamp duty freeze ends and in general improve their finances. 

We urge people to not delay because providers and are also very busy so delaying is likely to see you lose valuable allowances and reliefs which could cost considerably.

We are very much open for business and until the lockdown ends, continuing to work remotely. An initial chat costs nothing other than some time for us to see just how much value we can add by helping you.
