Local videographer, Flicky Harrison chatted to TGtS about shooting, working and living in Swindon.

Where is home and why?

I live in Old Town. I grew up in a little village just outside of Oxford, so I love the friendly community vibe that Old Town has to offer. A lot of my friends live here too, so its ideal really. 

What inspired you to set up your business here?

Swindon is well-known for its vibrant business community and I wanted to be part of that. I do my bit by creating promotional videos for firms and organisations. 

What advice would you give anyone looking to become a videographer?

Learn your trade, do your research and target your market with integrity and passion.

What do you think attracts business people to Swindon?

There's a fantastic mix of businesses in Swindon. So many high flying businesses have chosen to make Swindon their headquarters, but there are also plenty of small yet feisty firms springing up left right and centre. 

How do you like to spend your time off?

I've always been a music lover so I love watching live bands and catching up with my friends. 

Your phone book must be full of business contacts, but who is the most famous person in there?

Paul Jones from the Blues Band.
