Tell us a little bit about yourself...

After growing up in the heart of Oxford and completing an engineering degree at Oxford Brookes University, I relocated to Wiltshire almost 20 years ago today in order to pursue my passion for motorsport. Soon after relocating I joined a new start up business and proceeded to spend the next 16 years playing an integral senior role in building the business into the leading high street furniture retailer in the UK and US.

During the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic I decided to seek a new challenge and Discount Clearance Outlet was formed with the aim to use the experience gained over the past years to offer consumers good quality items at sensible prices. Being able to draw on industry relationships built furniture and home furnishings is the obvious starting point but the objective is to source and supply a much wider offering of product types as the brand builds and trends and seasons move on.

Tell us a little bit about the Discount Clearance Outlet...

Here at Discount Clearance Outlet, we are currently aimed at suppling the latest styles & good quality furniture and home furnishings. With our store based on Bumpers Farm in Chippenham, Wiltshire we are ideally located between several large towns and villages with easy access from the M4 for those a bit further afield. We pride ourselves on giving the best prices available on all our products ensuring great savings are available to everybody.

We have large stocks on display in our store including beds and mattresses, sofas, dining sets, cabinet furniture and accessories.

How do you offer such great, high quality products for low affordable prices?

Due to the many years of experience the team at DCO have and the strong industry relationships built during this time, we are consistently offered early access to some of the best products available from many of the leading high street retailers and distributors. This enables us to offer the very latest styles and trends to our customers, couple this together with our philosophy of offering these great products at prices affordable to everybody it`s easy to see why we are fast becoming the “go to place” for furniture and home furnishings.

How often does your stock change/get updated? 

We receive stock deliveries into our warehouse most days and have it on display in store and online within a few hours to ensure we have a continuously updated product range. We do also have many items which are always in stock ready for immediate collection or fast delivery.

What brands does DCO stock/sell?

Due to the relationships built up over the past years, here at DCO we are able to offer products from many leading brands that include Habitat, Wayfair, Breasley, Julian Bowen, Argos, John Lewis to name just a few.

What makes DCO different to any other outlet or discount store in the area? 

We are unique in that we pride ourselves on the quality and value of all our products. We are always searching for the latest trends and strive to keep our reputation as the leading “go to” destination for all your needs. We do not believe in high pressure sales staff but we are always on hand for any expert advise if needed and are able to offer a take away service on all our products in store or if preferred a super-fast delivery service.
