Looking Forward To Christmas!
By Al Keck, founder and CEO of Infinity Nation. Infinity Nation are retail focussed growth experts helping online businesses to deliver profitable growth through the full array of data insights and digital marketing with the help of data driven strategies.
What does Christmas 2020 mean for you in your business?
Christmas is a key time for Infinity Nation’s customers. For a lot of them, it is their busiest period along with Black Friday and Cyber Monday as additional retail key dates.
Therefore, our company thinks of Christmas as an Autumn preparation so that we can put the correct measures into place and help our clients to maximise their investment.
When do you start planning for Christmas in your business?
As a Digital Growth Partner, we are always proactive, so we start planning in May/June. October is too late in our industry. Our SEO team works on a 6 month lead-time, so we plan 6+ months in advance.
For Black Friday, we plan almost a year before to ensure that the results are ready after conducting data analysis at the end of the current holiday period. We begin to deliver our strategies to our clients in October, but planning starts much earlier for us.
Will your business be operating differently during Quarter 4 2020?
With the evolution of data tools, we have the capability to adapt quicker and react faster to the everchanging digital landscape. This means that we are able to research the trends and conduct the necessary actions to provide our clients with the best service, especially in these tumultuous times.
Additionally, due to Covid-19, we have created two bubbles at work for our employees’ health. This has allowed us to communicate more effectively with each as well as our clients and make sure that we are more flexible to the ever changing needs of our customers.
Are you planning any events in Quarter 4, virtual or real world?
Our final Ecommerce Collective event will be held in November. This means that we can then focus on the upcoming busy period for Christmas. However, our exclusive Ecommerce Collective events will return in 2021. Please check our website for future updates.
Have you got any milestones to share?
We are celebrating our 15 year anniversary at Infinity Nation. Also, we are currently in talks with a rugby charity and should hope to announce the partnership in 2021
Have you employed any new staff recently?
We are very excited to announce that we have four new starters to announce:
* Ffion Kelly – PPC Executive. Her career in digital started in 2016 after graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in psychology, she pursued a career in marketing as a member of the media planning and buying team at a fast-paced digital marketing agency. There she worked on a range of financial, FMCG and charity clients across a multitude of digital platforms gaining her a solid and varied base of experience and knowledge. She has joined the Infinity Nation team as a PPC Executive, working in the delivery team with a particular focus on growing the paid social offering.
*Danielle Sheppard – Account Executive. Her career in marketing started nearly 10 years ago, but it was in digital marketing where she found her passion. Danny worked for over eight years for one of the UK’s largest independent digital media agencies honing her skills across a range of industries including financial services, not for profit and FMCG. Seeking a new challenge following her return to work after the birth of her son, Danielle has joined the Infinity Nation client services team. Danny loves people and prides herself on building strong relationships with her clients, getting under the skin of their business and delivering campaigns which deliver ROI.
* Waqas Qaimkhani – Digital Marketing Apprentice who began his journey with us in August. His responsibilities include planning, creating, running and monitoring multi-channel campaigns. During the duration of the apprenticeship, Waqas is expected to learn on a daily basis and this includes learning about how to analyse and interpret data on a variety of topics including Google Analytics and the effectiveness of campaigns as well as learning the necessary skills for SEO and PPC campaigns across our many clients.
* Cristina Foreman – Account Executive with 10 years’ experience working in busy digital agency environments. She has a breadth of tactical knowledge in PPC, SEO, display, affiliates and social media as well as a sound understanding of website development, optimisation and tag management. She possesses experience in solving problem statements across both B2C and B2B audiences in a variety of sectors including financial services, retail and charities. Cristina is a mum to two mad little ladies and is therefore adept in crisis management and multitasking.
Have you faced some challenges which have changed things for you?
A positive challenge has been the creation of our work bubbles. This has meant that the staff who prefer to work in the office are able to do so while feeling safe and protected, which means that they are more focussed and are meeting more of their goals.
The staff members working from home have been equally productive while remaining safe in their homes. The staff have adapted magnificently and I commend them on their consummate professionalism as well as their hard work.
They will also adapt to Lockdown 2 with the same zeal & commitment.
How are you feeling generally about business in your community at this time?
Business in our community took a bit of a hit as we were all adapting to this virus and the subsequent rule changes. However, our staff have been brilliant to adapt and pivot to the changes that we’ve made to ensure their safety while working with our clients. As we have adapted well, our business is now in much better shape to equally serve our clients with our best work while protecting our staff and ensuring that they are safe.
Any special offers you’d like to mention?
We have recently started to offer a Free SEO Audit. This applies to any company with a website who would like to ensure that the websites are optimised, especially with Christmas coming so soon.
The SEO Audit can be done to help make your website perform at its peak so that our clients’ customers can have the best user experience. This is vital as research shows that more people will conduct most of their holiday shopping via the internet and a slow website will deter customers and affect the number of orders made through a retailer’s website.
Infinity Nation are growth experts! Therefore, we work with our clients to make sure that we create data driven strategies and utilise all channels and tools to deliver profitable growth. We encourage you to visit our website and challenge us to provide your business with a free SEO Audit or contact us to have a chat and see how we can help your business.
